I just wanted to thank-you again and let you know what a truly awesome day we had on SAT. Brett & Myself couldn’t of wished for it to have gone any better - even the weather sorted itself out in time!!!

Thank-you to all the staff at the resort, the waiting staff were excellent, the food was amazing and all our guests were really happy. Thanks for all the hard work you put into the room as that just looked stunning and we were absolutely blown away with how it all came out.

I didn’t get to catch up with you after our wedding to thank you. We had an AMAZING day, truly a dream day. Everything was perfect!!! - each venue, the service, the food (although I was on too much of a high to really eat, but what I did taste was great), the drinks, everything. The day went so smoothly, thank you for all the organising you done to make this happen.

We are looking forward to coming back one day soon for dinner at the restaurant and maybe to stay. We actually can’t wait as we have such good memories of our time at the resort.
I have attached a few photos (in this email and a couple to follow as the files are quite big) that the photographer took.

We had the best day ever and we still think about it everyday. THANK YOU for making our day so special.

Hi there,I wasn’t sure where to send this email, as it has been a couple of years since my husband and I were married at your beautiful venue. We are living in Melbourne now and I have started my own business in the wedding industry providing gorgeous (if I do say so) stationery and decor options for brides in Victoria. It dawned on me that I had never extended my gratitude to the staff at Huka Falls Resort who went above and beyond the call of duty to help make our day the success it was.

Out of curiosity I decided to check your website to see the changes that have taken shape since we were last there, and I am amazed at how much work has been done to the place. You cannot describe the excitement I felt when I saw the photo you have used to show the Acaia Room. I instantly recognised the round bowls filled with tulips, and the fairy light wall behind the head table as our very own wedding night. A myriad of memories came flooding back and I was compelled to write to you.

Peter and I were married on June 29, 2007 (yes, its been that long for this email of thanks to arrive. How bad am I?). I desperately wanted to have a winter wedding; which meant we needed a venue that could provide an indoor ceremony, and because we were travelling from out of town to mark our special day we required accommodation for ourselves and all our guests. To have stumbled across Huka Falls Resort was purely fate at work…not only were all our inital needs met but you could also provide a variety of reception options AND we were able to indulge our love of wine and good food as well. Your venue could not have been a more perfect fit for us!

Though nearly three years have passed, I would like to extend my gratitude to the staff that helped us piece our day together, from conception through to the wonderful wedding we enjoyed. The waiting staff were impeccable in their service, the food was glorious and everytime I return to New Zealand I make a point of driving from my hometown to buy several bottles of the best Pinot Noir I have ever tasted! No one makes it as good, and I have tasted many worldwide! ;-)

We will be home again in 2 weeks and I look forward to visiting with you again, this time with my husband and 4 year old son in tow. Thank you for being part of the best day of our lives! The memories are as fresh as if it happened only a day ago, this can only be a testiment to the dedication and hard work of the staff at your establishment. Huka Falls Resort will forever hold a special place with us for that, thank you.
