Venues

We have 5 Reception rooms that cater from 20-140 guests, natural lighting in all rooms, the historic 1904 Fletchers Church,  courtyard areas for canapes, beautifully landscaped gardens & a vineyard for photographs and accommodation for your guests.

Rangatira
Our largest function room ‘Rangatira’ is 19.64m x 8.64m and is adjacent to reception and the Acacia Function room. It holds a maximum of 120 guests banquet style on round tables, 150 banquet style on trestle tables or 100 banquet style with a dance floor. This room has two courtyard areas, its own bar facilities and has finely crafted native Rimu timber paneling and French windows allowing for a warm golden glow to the airy interior. The Rangatira room can also be split into two separate rooms, each with its own courtyard and French doors allowing the bride and groom to arrive in style.

 

Acacia
The Acacia Function room is attached to the Rangatira room and holds a maximum of 80 guests banquet style on round tables, 100 banquet style on trestle tables or 50 banquet style with a dance floor. This room has its own private courtyard ideal for canapes, photographs or just enjoy the tranquility under a canopy of apples trees and stars in the summer months. In the cooler months, enjoy the warmth in front of our impressive river stone fireplace.

 

Huka Falls Restaurant
The Restaurant is ideal for smaller weddings and has a spacious deck for that romantic Marquee wedding. The restaurant holds a maximum of 50 guests and a Marquee can hold a maximum of 138 guests on banquet style round tables, 160 guests on banquet style trestle table utilizing the restaurant as a bar and dance floor. The Restaurant offers stunning views of Mt Tauhara & the Pinot Noir vineyard.

Kiwi
The Kiwi room is a stand alone room with stunning views overlooking the Huka Vineyards - Taupo’s first vineyard and features ceiling to floor windows. This light, spacious function room is 8.2m x 9.0m and holds a maximum of 50 banquet style on trestle tables. This room has its own private amenities and Kitchen area for a portable bar facility.

Wharewaka
The Wharewaka function room is 10.7m x 5m and holds a maximum of 24 guests banquet style on round tables or 40 banquet style on trestle tables. This room has finely crafted native Rimu timber paneling and French doors opening onto a deck area. This room can also be used for your banquet meal or dance floor area should you be using the Rangatira room.
